American Self-Defense Institute Certified The Women's Self-Defense Course we offer will help give you the security and peace of mind in knowing that you can dramatically increase the chances of surviving/avoiding a violent attack. The ability to protect yourself, your friends and your family from dangerous situations is priceless. This self-defense course has been designed specifically to empower women with the skills, tactics and stragetegies to survive a violent situation. Tomaso's Martial Arts Academy offers professional training in Women's Self-Defense. Self-Defense Programs are available to groups as small as four or as large as a thousand. Length of the programs vary from one to six hours Courses can be tailor designed for your specific needs. 

Here's what's in a typical course:
  • Defense against the most common strikes
  • How to escape the most common grabs and holds
  • Extensive training about survival on the ground
  • Strategies to trick your attacker
  • Weapon defense and survival
  • How to avoid a violent confrontation
  • Imagine a 200 pound attacker pinning you on your back…learn how
    to escape safely
  • Learn to disable your attacker by utilizing your strengths against the attacker’s weaknesses.
